Airy Dream. A Dreamcatcher Pattern

Free Crochet Dreamcatcher Pattern. OceansOriginals

“For in dreams, we enter a world that is entirely our own. Let them swim in the deepest ocean or glide over the highest cloud”

-Dumbledore

Here’s to good dreams passing through, here’s a dreamcatcher pattern for you.. 😀

I used a 3mm hook, size 5 thread and a ring with a diameter of 7inches (It is a bit loose with this ring though so I recommend using an 8inch diameter for a tighter finish or maybe a smaller hook)

Create a magic circle

R1: *3TRtog, chain 2* 6 times, slip stitch to join.

R2: *SC in each TRtog, 3SC in each chain 2 space* (24SC)

R3: *2DCtog, chain2* 12 times.

R4: chain 9, *TR in DCtog from previous row, chain 5* 11 times. Slip stitch in 4th chain of starting chain 9 to join.

R5: 3 slip stitch (from where we left off in the previous row). *chain 5, SC in chain 5 (of previous row)* 12 times.

R6: *3TCtog, chain 3, SC in chain 5 space, chain 3* 12 times

R7: *chain 7, SC into TRtog* 12 times.

R8: 4slip stitch into the chain 7, *chain 7, SC into TRtog* 12 times.

R9: *3TCtog, chain 4, SC in chain 7 space, chain 4* 12 times.

R10: *Chain 7, SC in SC of previous row, Chain 7, Sc in TRtog (of previous row)* 12 times.

Crochet onto ring using SC. (I did 7SC in each chain 7 group)

Lovey piece, but please, please, be kind to your readers and use a different color scheme for your font. There is no way I could work the pattern from these colors, there is not enough contrast between the white background and the pale print.

I’m sorry.. I’ve never received any feedback about this.. do you think “bolding” the font would be better? Thank you for letting me know though, I will work on a new color scheme..

Beautiful Kelley!! I love the way you embellished it with the flowers. I can see so many awesome combinations with different color yarns, adding shells or beads etc etc etc!! ❤ ❤ ❤
