FreeCrochetBikini/CropTopPattern. OceansOriginalsHi my lovely hookers, I can’t believe we are in the middle of the month already and I still haven’t posted. I’ve been trying to manage some crazy work hours with my crochet life. I’m hoping I will adjust soon and I can continue my crafting journey. Anyway I hope all is well with all of you and here’s a new pattern I’ve worked up for you my lovelies. 🙂

P.S The stitch I used for this pattern, I learned at New Stitch A Day. I do not know if they created this stitch and I am not sponsored or paid in anyway.

Natura Crochet Top

FreeCrochetPattern. OceansOriginals

Hi hi, I know I’m late to post this but this month has been a bit of a roller coaster, so I’d like to apologize to all my subscribers who look forward to regular posts. I know I promised a pattern every week, but it does get crazy sometimes. I will try to work harder to stick to a schedule though, but even if that doesn’t happen, I promise to upload 4 patterns every month. so here goes,  Continue reading

Kari Crochet Top

Karie Bikini/Crop Top Free Pattern. OceansOriginals

Hi all, so I was working on this pattern for a few days, (about a week actually) and when I finally completed it, turns out it was too “small” (not really, but the the person I made it for is a little picky.. baby sisters *rolling my eye*). Anyway, it was one of the hardest patterns I ever designed even though the stitches are really quite simple, but the work itself was quite tedious. I ended up doing a lot of frogging even though my charts were perfect..And on the other hand, my actual crocheting was off for some reason but I do believe everything happens for a reason and so, due to all of the above, I was able to work harder at producing something even better, and it turns out, this is one of my favorite designs. Now to the pattern..

Oh before that, I’d quickly like to say that my work isn’t sponsored in any way. I’m writing these patterns as a way to share my passion with all you crocheters out there because when I first started, it was really difficult to find free patterns, especially for the type of pieces that I crochet. The patterns on my site are the written versions of what I have done when designing a piece. I know we all crochet in a way unique to us, and so, my way may not necessarily be the way you would crochet but I’m happy to clear things up if you run in to any problems or errors. Just send me a MESSAGE. Continue reading

Diamond Barefoot Sandal

Diamond Barefoot Sandal free pattern. OceansOriginals
Hi guys. I can’t believe its almost the end of the month already. (I feel as if time is speeding up). I’ve been working on a new bikini/crop top and I have the pattern written up but ended up having to make the piece a little bigger so I had to frog it..And now, I don’t have a picture to post so I will share my pattern when I rework the top. Anyway, I decided to write up a quick Barefoot Sandal pattern using the stitch I used for the top so here you go. (personally I think it’s really cute, the picture doesn’t do it justice- I guess i’m biased as its my design 🤷🏽‍♀️) Continue reading

Cadence- A Granny Square Crop Top

Cadence- Peacock Granny Square Crop Top. Free Crochet Pattern. OceansOriginals
Hi my fellow crocheters. So today, I have a pattern for a beautiful granny square crop top. It can be worn as a festival top, a beachy top, a regular crochet top (maybe with a cute sweater?). It’s beautiful I think. It’s also the first real granny square I’ve ever done (after learning the correct way to do granny squares). I know I did a wall hanging post before, but that was just by sight rather than correct stitch count. (I may have to review that). Anyway, let’s get into the pattern.
I used a size 3 thread in 5 different colors : white, purple, blue, green and pink. (Peacock colors I guess- but I think different shades of blue would give this a real beachy vibe. Whatever you choose to do, the possibilities are endless)
